Privacy policy

Team Metrics is a small SaaS product that ingests your Linear workspace and turns it into engineering metrics. This page describes what we collect, how we store it, and what control you have over it. We're in beta and trying to keep this short and honest.

What we collect

When you connect Linear, you provide us with a Linear API token. Using that token we read issues, teams, projects, labels, comments, and the history of how your issues moved between states. We do not write to your Linear workspace.

We also collect basic account information you give us at sign-up — name and email address — and the usual product telemetry (page views, request logs, error traces) needed to keep the service running.

How we store it

Your data lives in a US-region cloud database, encrypted at rest and in transit. Access is restricted to the small group of people who operate the service. We do not sell, rent, or share your data with third parties for advertising.

Subprocessors

We use AWS for infrastructure (compute, database, object storage). We may add additional subprocessors as the product grows; we'll keep this section up to date when that happens.

Your rights

You can revoke our Linear API token at any time from your Linear settings, which immediately stops further ingestion. You can also email us to delete your account and all associated data — we'll do it and confirm by reply.
